First Presbyterian's Women’s Ministry is devoted to intentional intimacy with our Lord Jesus Christ through our commitment to in-depth Bible study and prayer; with an eye toward building disciples for a lifetime. Small Groups are a more personal place for you to get to know others in the life of the church! They are designed to bring people together on a weekly basis to learn, share, and grow. Weekly gatherings involve scripture reading, discussion based on the prior Sunday's sermon, time for fellowship, prayer, and often some tasty treats.
We believe God is calling each of us to experience a deep sense of BELONGING to Jesus, our Church Family, and broader community. If you are looking for ways to connect and grow, getting into a Small Group is a great next step!
Our Women’s & Men’s ministries join together each summer to dive deeper into the Word. The purpose of these studies is to grow more deeply in the love and likeness of God, build relationships of radical affection, learn from each other and our beloved pastors/authors, and fill the gap between small group seasons. We invite you to bring a friend and engage deeply with the Adult Discipleship ministry of First Pres.

Retreats are designed to get us out of our normal rhythms and spaces and enjoy time with others and with the Lord. We have begun to offer annual retreats for men and women of First Pres as a way to rest, reflect, and renew our spirits. The time with the Lord can feel like a soul care intensive as we trust ourselves to the Holy Spirit, teachers, and friends. The slow pace of the retreats gives us time to connect with others through conversation and lots of fun. Whether you’ve been at First Pres for many years, or you are brand new in the life of the church, we would love to have you join us for a weekend away!
