Student Ministry

The First Pres student ministry focuses on middle, high school, and college students, and provides opportunities for youth to go deeper in their relationship with God as well as their relationships with others. Most student ministry programming takes place in Allen & Yowell Hall.

Tribe (MS)

During the school year, we offer Tribe for middle schoolers Wednesday nights 5:30-7:30pm.

We also have two yearly retreats: a fall retreat to Southwind and a summer retreat to Camp Twain!

Peak (HS)

During the school year, high schoolers can join us from 7:30-9:00pm Wednesday nights.

We also have two yearly retreats: a fall retreat to Eagle Rock and a summer retreat to Camp Twain!

Small Groups (MS/HS)

Small Groups are leader-led peer groups gathering in homes all around the city on Sunday afternoons where we build relationships, study scripture, and pray for one another.

Sunday School (MS/HS)

We meet from 9:45-10:45am on Sundays in the Warehouse. Middle and high school students welcome!

Camp Twain • July 22-26

Our vision for Camp Twain is to give students a chance to get away from their normal routine and encounter The Living God. This camp is for middle & high school students (rising 6th-12th).  We will play games, hear biblical teaching, sing songs, discuss topics, and have tons of fun. Students will not only grow in their relationship with God, but also with fellow students and leaders.

Get Outta Towns (GOTs)

Get Outta Towns are day-trips in the greater Orlando area. These are great opportunities to introduce a friend to the FPCO community (or to attend a church activity for the first time)!

Eagle Rock • High School Retreat

Our yearly high school retreat takes us to the mountains of Maryville, TN! All high school students are invited to join us as we intentionally seek the Lord together. We'll enjoy Eagle Rock's mountain lodge, hiking, rock climbing, and paintball on top of the mountain. We'll also spend time absorbing God's word, worshipping through music, and growing deeper in fellowship with one another!

Southwind • Middle School Retreat

Southwind is our annual retreat for middle school students. A collaborative effort alongside other Orlando churches and located at the Southwind Young Life camp near Ocala, FL, the weekend is designed to give students the chance to hear the gospel while they experience Christian community and fellowship with their peers and leaders.

DR Mission Trip

FPCO works under the leadership of partner Mission Emanuel in the community of Cielo, Dominican Republic. Student Ministry leaders as well as Tanner Fox, Associate Pastor of Mission, take adults and children to the DR to serve. We spend almost a week building houses and relationships. This trip is a great first-time mission experience for many individuals, families and small groups. The trip is discipleship-based, so it is intended for more mature Christ-followers. Each high school student must apply.
