#WeAreFirstPres Stories: Pure Sunshine
It is with great sadness that I share the passing of a beloved FPCO icon, Trish Wilson. She was struck by a car last Tuesday while crossing the street next to the church. Trish was an institution, serving at FPCO for 44 years, beginning in our Weekday School and eventually moving into administration. She was the spiritual grandmother to our staff, the sweet voice that would come over the top of her cube saying, “Good morning! How are you?” She was a bright light, a relentlessly positive presence who reflected the light of Jesus in all she did. It is impossible to overstate how loved she was by our entire staff. We are devastated, heartbroken - but we are grieving together in the hope of Easter. Please pray for Trish’s family and for our entire staff team as we navigate these bittersweet days of mourning and resurrection hope. We love you, Trish, and we’ll see you shortly around His banquet table. ❤️ Hear a tribute to Trish’s Missional Life from Dr. Jack Peebles in today’s Pastors Daily.
