Our Discipleship Ministry invites you into a deeper experience of Belonging — specifically, what it means to belong to God. We’ll explore the foundations of Reformed theology together by reading Doctrines of Grace.
Each session will be led by one of our pastors — including Dr. Swanson — as we learn through the key themes of this rich book together. This study will anchor our hearts in the grace and truth of the Gospel. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow in your understanding of God’s sovereign love.

The First Pres Flower Ministry is an enthusiastic group of volunteers who seek to serve our Church Family and glorify God by creating skillful and graceful flower arrangements to enhance worship and other church-sponsored, special activities. Flower Ministry volunteers receive initial instruction and continuous coaching in the floral arts and enjoy a small group atmosphere of fellowship, warmth, and care.
The Holy Stitches prayer shawl ministry of First Pres creates a kind, uplifting, faith-filled place for ladies who like to crochet and knit. Their thoughtful and beautiful labor-of-love shawls are a tangible reminder of Christ’s care and provision for those who are hurting. The ladies specifically pray for each shawl recipient before delivering their hand-crafted beauty with a cross and a message of hope.
Chapter & Verse is a caring community of women committed to seeking and serving God. This book club is for women who like to read and enjoy sharing what they read with other women. We chose an assortment of books hoping to appeal to varied interests. Our meetings are casual and fun. All are welcome. Bring a friend!
This First Pres curriculum focuses on the five disciplines that build a healthy follower of Christ: Biblical Narrative, Identity & Idolatry, Giftedness, Missional Values, and Gospel Sharing.
