Groups are hands-on, discipleship-driven communities where you spend time weekly investing in one another’s lives. Groups are a place to be known and loved, and to live out our calling of radical affection and accountability through life-on-life discipleship. They are communities of believers, studying the Word, teaching spiritual practices, and investing time in prayer and accountability together.

This Summer, Men’s & Women’s ministries are joining to study the work of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together. We will meet every Monday in July to read the book together and discuss the ideas of Christian Community!

Leaders have stepped up from around town to welcome you into their homes and hearts for rich connection, learning, and lots of smiles too! Our small groups are an 8-week commitment and registration is required.

The First Pres Flower Ministry is an enthusiastic group of volunteers who seek to serve our Church Family and glorify God by creating skillful and graceful flower arrangements to enhance worship and other church-sponsored, special activities. Flower Ministry volunteers receive initial instruction and continuous coaching in the floral arts and enjoy a small group atmosphere of fellowship, warmth, and care.
The Holy Stitches prayer shawl ministry of First Pres creates a kind, uplifting, faith-filled place for ladies who like to crochet and knit. Their thoughtful and beautiful labor-of-love shawls are a tangible reminder of Christ’s care and provision for those who are hurting. The ladies specifically pray for each shawl recipient before delivering their hand-crafted beauty with a cross and a message of hope.
Chapter & Verse is a caring community of women committed to seeking and serving God. This book club is for women who like to read and enjoy sharing what they read with other women. We chose an assortment of books hoping to appeal to varied interests. Our meetings are casual and fun. All are welcome. Bring a friend!
This First Pres curriculum focuses on the five disciplines that build a healthy follower of Christ: Biblical Narrative, Identity & Idolatry, Giftedness, Missional Values, and Gospel Sharing. GROW encourages our groups to explore and develop new spiritual practices and habits together. Join a Grow Group or start your own!
