Student Ministry

The First Pres student ministry focuses on middle, high school, and college students, and provides opportunities for youth to go deeper in their relationship with God as well as their relationships with others. Most student ministry programming takes place in Allen & Yowell Hall.

DR Mission Trip • Jun 10-16

FPCO works under the leadership of partner Mission Emanuel in the community of Cielo, Dominican Republic. Student Ministry leaders as well as Family Pastor Bret Allen takes adults and children to the DR to serve. We spend almost a week building houses and relationships. This trip is a great first-time mission experience for many individuals, families and small groups. The trip is discipleship-based, so it is intended for more mature Christ-followers. Each high school student must apply.

Trip frequency change: Starting this summer, we are only offering the trip every other year.

Cost? The cost of your trip is $1350, and does NOT include the cost of your flight. Each student can book their own flight once their application is approved.

Camp Twain • Georgia • July 24-28

Camp Twain is FPCO Student Ministry's very own summer camp experience. This is our 3rd year of Camp Twain, and we love it! Camp is held at Pinnacle Retreat Center in Clayton, Georgia.

This camp is for middle & high school students (rising 6th-12th). Our vision for Camp Twain is to give students a chance to get away from their normal routine and encounter The Living God. We will play games, hear biblical teaching, sing songs, discuss topics, and have tons of fun. Students will not only grow in their relationship with God, but also with fellow students and leaders.

Scholarships: We don't ever want money to get in the way of a student coming to camp! Scholarships are available based on financial need. Simply register with a payment of $25 and complete the application form.

Cost: $499 per student   |   Registration: www.fpco.org/register
