Andy Blanchard M.A., LMHC, NCC 

Andy has earned a Masters in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with thousands of hours of professional counseling experience, Andy works with individuals, couples, and groups in the Orlando area. Andy works with adults in every stage of life and, with over eight years experience in youth ministry, he is qualified to handle complicated adolescent issues. Other areas of specialty involve marriage counseling, addiction recovery, intimacy issues and spiritual development. Prior to a career in counseling, Andy earned a BA in Mathematics and Religious Studies from St. Olaf College. Together with his family, he is actively involved in their local church. You might also find Andy enjoying sailing, playing drums in a band or creating something in his workshop.

Lynn Young, LMHC, NCC

Lynn is a life long, active member of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and is committed to providing Christ-centered counseling to adults, adolescents, and their families. She considers it a privilege and an honor to walk alongside others as they struggle to be all that God calls them to be in an often difficult and confusing world. Lynn works with all ages and especially enjoys working with parents who seek direction and support as they strive to raise healthy children in today’s fast paced society. Other areas of focus include addiction, trauma, life transitions, grief/loss issues, and relationship difficulties. The counseling process is about taking something that is broken or “not working” and changing it into something that God can use for His glory. 

Lynn graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida. She and her husband Scott have been married 20 years and are blessed with three teenage children.

Brianne Kaufholz, MA, LMFT

Brianne is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her bachelors from the University of Florida in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences, and earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist she works from a systemic perspective serving adolescents, couples, and families. Over her years of experience she has developed a specialty in working with couples: pre-marital, dynamics and growth, relationship problems, as well as respectful work with families. She is certified in the PREPARE/ENRICH, a tool aiding couples in counseling. She loves helping people and has been active in the ministry of Young Life, in various capacities, for over 10 years.

Dan Miller, MA, LMHC

Dan Miller is a native Floridian from the west coast of Florida and has lived in the Orlando area for 14 years. He was a classroom teacher for eight years. Three of those eight years he taught in Mexico City, Mexico while assisting in starting a church there. He loves spending time with his family and friends, and being in the outdoors. Dan holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida. 

Dan works with individuals, couples, and groups on the issues of relational struggles, fear, repressed anger, depression, addiction, shame, grief, divorce, and abuse recovery, and helps his clients discover how these issues relate to one’s growth into mature men and women. Dan’s passion is walking alongside others to find hope and change.

Rachel Blackston, M.A., M.Ed.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Rachel is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients and believes counseling can be a life-changing experience where deep heart change occurs.   She specializes in working with women dealing with relationship issues, depression, and anxiety, with a special interest in sexual abuse recovery, codependency, infertility, and gender identity.  Rachel has developed an expertise in working with women who have been sexually betrayed by their husbands and serves as a therapist at the Women in the Battle weekend through New Life Ministries.  In addition, she is trained in EMDR, an evidenced-based therapy that helps clients recover from past disturbing events that continue to impact their mind and body.

Rachel is a Qualified Supervisor for those seeking licensure as mental health counselors in the state of Florida.  Beyond the counseling room, she serves as Adjunct Faculty at her alma mater, Reformed Theological Seminary and enjoys speaking in the community on topics such as gender, personality type, career development, and other counseling related issues.   When she’s not counseling, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and daughter Hannah, who was a priceless gift after several years of struggling with infertility.  Also, she is a competitive board game player and loves to bargain shop.

J. Michael Blackston, M.A.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Michael has a passion to help others find wholeness in all aspects of life. Through his relational, yet practical approach, Michael enjoys working with a range of issues including trauma and abuse recovery, relationship issues, gender identity, masculinity and femininity, depression, and anxiety. Michael also works with men dealing with sexual integrity issues and travels the country with New Life Ministries where he leads men’s groups and has served as a facilitator for the Every Man's Battle workshops. In addition, he has been trained in EMDR, which treats past disturbing events or hurts that continue to impact a person’s functioning. Michael is a Qualified Supervisor for those seeking licensure as mental health counselors in the state of Florida.

Michael graduated with his Master’s degree in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary. He and his wife Rachel feel honored to work alongside each other in helping others clients find freedom in their lives. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and unwinds by running marathons and half-marathons.

Sarah Milam, LMHC, ATR

Sarah is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, as well as a Registered Art Therapist. After attending Florida State University and earning a Master’s of Science in Art Therapy, she continued to pursue education and supervision to obtain her LMHC in Florida, in addition to the credential of Registered Art Therapist through the Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc. 

After graduating from FSU, Sarah and her husband lived and worked in Tallahassee for many years before relocating to Orlando. Sarah has experience with various ages, and settings, including work with children, teens, adults with issues related to anxiety, depression/mood issues, oppositional defiance, and other behavioral issues. Sarah currently works with children, teens, and adults using both counseling strategies as well as art therapy techniques to provide multiple avenues of communication, expression, and growth.

Neal Salzman M.A. M.Div. LMHC

Neal is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Maitland, Florida.  He earned a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2005.  He also serves as the founder and executive director of The Rest Initiative, a member care and support organization for those serving others locally and throughout the world. He also is a Qualified Supervisor for those seeking licensure as mental health counselors in the state of Florida.

Neal specializes in mood disorders, adolescent struggles, addictions, transitional care and relationship issues, Neal enjoys working with both individuals and families.  He practices a relational model of counseling believing that creating a safe and honest relationship is a key element of growth.  He also understand the important balance of caring for one’s heart and exploring one’s behavior.

Neal has held roles serving in the local church and continues to have a passion for bridging the gap between counseling and the church community.

In his free time, Neal enjoys relaxing with his wife Jessica and their three sons Noah, Jake and Zach.
