PRE-K – KINDERGARTEN
- What was the name of the young man who started learning about God when he was very little? (Timothy)
- Who taught Timothy about the word of God when he was little? (His mother, Eunice, and his grandmother, Lois)
- What missionary did Timothy help? (Paul)
- How did God take care of Timothy? (-)
- Is there more than one God? (No, there is only one God.)
- In how many persons does this one God exist? (In three persons)
- Name these persons. (The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit)
- Memory Verse: The Lord knows the way...The Lord will always guide you. Isaiah 58:11.
1ST – 5TH
- Why was Nehemiah in Jerusalem? (Nehemiah was in Jerusalem to help the people rebuild the city walls. The people started working together to fix the walls and the burned-down gates.)
- How many gates did the people work on? (Five gates: Fish Gate, Sheep Gate, Valley Gate, Old Gate, and the Horse Gate.)
- Who was angry and mocked the people? (Sanballat and Tobiah lived nearby were angry and mocked the people.)
- How did Nehemiah and the people react when enemies planned to attack? (They prayed and assigned men to guard the walls all day and all night.)
- What did Nehemiah tell the discouraged people? (“Do not be afraid. God is great and powerful!” Nehemiah said. “Be ready. If our enemies attack us, God will fight for us!”)
- What did Jerusalem’s enemies do when they heard the wall was complete? (When all of Jerusalem’s enemies heard that the wall had been rebuilt, they were afraid because they knew God was with His people.)
