Is Your Family Tech-Wise? Easy Steps for Putting Technology in Its Proper Place
Three Sundays in June: 4, 11, 18
Facilitated by Dr. Case Thorp
There will be a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, June 4th at 11am to receive the recommendation of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee to call Tanner Fox as our Associate Pastor for Mission.
This is a week-long mission trip designed for anyone in our church family to join in. The purpose of the trip is to provide a way for families, individuals, and small groups to serve together for a week with our mission partner in the Dominican Republic, Mission Emanuel, and better understand God's Kingdom purpose for the church. And, to have fun together!
June 12th marks one year since the Orlando Pulse tragedy. The City of Orlando and Orange County Government, in collaboration with Pulse, have jointly designated June 12, 2017, as “Orlando United Day – A Day of Love and Kindness.” Please join us as we serve and honor Orlando's First Responder community.
On this day the Camaraderie Foundation and the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando will be serving our first responders whose strength is part of the reason why we are Orlando strong!
We will host four lectures focusing on ways in which the practices of the church were reshaped by biblical teaching in the 16th century. All the lectures will be held in the Reformation Chapel at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando located at 106 E. Church St., Orlando, FL 32801. Lectures are free and open to the public.
