God's Hand Over Us
by Dr. Dan Sharp, Minister of Worship
“You hem me in–behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.” Psalms 139:5
What comforting words David has given to us. Being hemmed in by God is not a bad thing! It is the safest place to be in the universe. Furthermore, God’s hand is upon us. God’s hand leads, guides, corrects, disciplines, prunes, soothes, heals, encourages, strengthens, and comforts. His is the loving hand of a Father who knows and desires the very best for us.
Oh to be “hemmed in” by such a heavenly Father. A heart in submission to the Father welcomes God’s hand. Welcome His hand today.
