Mercy Drive Initiative

The MERCY DRIVE INITIATIVE is comprised of three main programs that make up a continuum of care:

  1. Music for Learning in partnership with Orange County’s Head Start program for preschoolers at the Hal Marston Community Center
  2. OASIS the City of Orlando's after school program for elementary school students, with whom we partner, at the Northwest Community Center
  3. FOUR12 First Pres' teen mentoring and tutoring ministry with programs for middle and high school students at the Northwest Community Center, and a ministry for first generation college students.

    • Mon-Fri - 4:00 - 5:30 pm, Wed - 3:00 - 5:30 pm
  • FOUR12 (Middle & High School)
    • Middle School: M, T, Th, F 4:30 - 6:00; Weds 3:30 - 6:00
    • High School: M, T, W, Th 3:30 - 5:00; Fridays 4:30 - 6:00

Volunteers are needed to help students at our after school programs with reading, math, and general homework. We are also looking for guest speakers, enrichment instructors (cooking, art, music, gardening, etc.). Mentors for our college students are also needed. 

All potential volunteers must complete an application HERE and attend one of our Volunteer Orientations.
