Casket Empty: NEW TESTAMENT
ARCHIVE OF 2015-2016 COURSE (SEE CURRENT COURSE)
Gain a deeper understanding of God’s word in this four-semester Bible study curriculum taught by Dr. Case Thorp. C-A-S-K-E-T E-M-P-T-Y is an acronym to help teach and remember the Biblical narrative. In 2014-2015, we offered the Old Testament survey course, the "Casket" portion, to help you learn God’s story of redemption. For the 2015-2016 academic year, join Dr. Thorp for the New Testament survey course, or the "Empty" portion. Classes run the Sundays between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
Using curriculum created by professors at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, participants study the full scope of the Bible’s chronological, geographical, historical, cultural and literary context.
It is not necessary to have taken the Old Testament survey to attend or enjoy. As well, each week's lecture can stand independent of the rest. You don't have to start at the beginning!
